Winnings of over 100 million have become a common factor at Fortebet. This time, the turn of winning fell on a Jinja based punter who walked out of Fortebet head office in Kololo smiling ear-ear after being handed his 132 million Uganda shillings, in cash.
This is the second winner from Jinja in a space of about a week, the last having won 37 million vowed to become the greatest poultry supplier in the region.
While talking to us, the 132m winner with ticket number 2914359996902033 said, “I have just witnessed what Fortebet always say that it pays promptly, I confirm I have my cash. The day I placed this winning ticket, i also placed many other tickets, about 15. Other tickets had a stake of upto 5,000/= but surprisingly, the one with the smallest stake of 1000/0 won,” the winner narrated, adding that, “That is how I play my betting game. I place many tickets each with different betting options. I have been doing this for the last four years and I had always remained hopeful that one day I will win. I have severally come close to winning with many tickets losing only one or two games.”
Having a lot of experience in handling crop and animal produce, the winner said that he is going to inject a large portion of this money into this area. “I am also going to buy more land that I will add on my farm land and also construct more commercial houses to secure my future. This money will also help me settle school fees for my children for some time,” he added.
Fortebet accountant, David Ssendagire, on behalf of Fortebet handed over the money to the winner. “I first of all congratulate you our winner. Make sure you use this money well because it is alot. To the rest out there, this winner is an example when we say sometimes you need to be a little patient to win your dream money. Just keep trying, with stakes of money that do not affect your cash flow, one day, you will dance to joy like this winner. Congratulations sir!”
This winning ticket comprised of 28 matches with selections of 1, 1X, Yes (Both Teams to score), X2, 2 and Over 2.5. the biggest odd on his ticket was odd 2.25, otherwise the rest were below odd 2. In total, his 28-match odds collection gave him a grand odd of 156,175.62 that paid him 132,749,272/=. Congratulations!
