Uganda national team has raised four places from the previous 83rd place in the FIFA rankings released on Thursday 24th October
The improvement sees Uganda sit 79th with 1305.86 points from the initial 1291 points of last month
This is attributed to the positive results from the AFCON qualifier double header against Lesotho on 13th and 16th October
Uganda remains the highest ranked nation in the CECAFA region with Kenya coming second in the 105th place .Tanzania is ranked 136th, Rwanda 138th while Burundi moved 6 places to sit 142nd
Uganda cranes top group L in Africa cup qualifiers.They are just one point away to Cameroon
