Non-league Luzira Thunders drew high-flying Crown in this year’s Futsal Uganda Cup round of 16. The Luzira side and Sona Home of Sports are the two sides that were given a pass to play in this year’s competition alongside the fourteen league sides. The draws were held on Thursday at the International Futsal Courts in Mengo-Kisenyi, Kampala. Last edition’s losing finalists, Yeak Kabowa will start their campaign against struggling league Aidenal School of Soccer Art that have only won twice out of ten league games this season. All the eight games will be played on Thursday, January 31 on both pitches at the International Futsal Courts. The tournament will run for four months till May 9 with the winner having Shs2m cash prize.
