Henry Kalungi looks smitten with American wife Jacqueline Kalungi every time he is on holidays in Uganda as they enjoy a Uganda sunshine getaway.
The Charlotte Independence FC defender has proved to be in high spirits as he enjoys local travels with stunning Jacqueline, who recently graduated with masters in finances.
Kalungi, mostly dresses his physic in pair of shorts and designer or sports top while Jacqueline looks sensation in jeans and fitting tops as the glamorous couple storm the best venues in town.
But not like the socialites in Kampala, Kalungi has never forgotten his root –always heading back to his home village to give a hand. However, what is most touching is the Uganda Cranes player’s golden heart that has seen help the vulnerable and under privileged from the ghetto through his Kalungi foundation.
The Kalungi foundation, started three years ago, has touched many kids from the Kampala slums as well as Luwero district villages. Kalungi foundation again donated to the slum inhabitants during the annual soccer camp and slum visits.
The 2018 camp was at Buganda road primary school play ground and the youths from different Kampala slums were treated to a New Year party before being given athletic gear like footballs, jerseys, soccer and designer boots among others. “We had a soccer clinic and health talk before partying to celebrate the New Year 2019.
Most of these kids from the ghetto did not party into the New Year and we so, we wanted to share the little we have,” noted Kalungi, who is supported by his gear sponsors Umbro and others.
“My wife (Jacqueline) has been very much supportive and at the fore front. She is a real wife with a golden heart,” he noted. Aida Nabunya, the Kalungi foundation country director said that they also moved to Luwero district in Bulemezi at Kalirokatono village where they also donated to community with basic needs after doing the same in Makerere Kivulu slums.
