Police 1-4 Nyamityobora

Tooro United 1-0 Express

https://sportsoceanuganda.com/2019/01/29/nyamityobora-stun-police-to-improve-survival-hopes/Tooro United continued with their unbeaten home run at Buhinga stadium with a toiled 1-0 win at Express on Tuesday. Simon Sserunkuma punished former bosses from the spot in the 87th minute after defender Arthur Kiggundu fouled the Pilsner Man of the match Allan Kayiwa from the forbidden area. Express FC head coach Kefa Kisala benched striker Tony Odur before the latter replaced injured Eric Kambale. But it was rather a rude debut for new signings; Brian Umony and Ivan Ocholit. Umony replaced the former in the second stanza but could do little to save the Betway-sponsored side from their 5th loss of the campaign, and this time, at the hands of former coach Wasswa Bbosa. The win moved Bbosa’s side four places to 6th with 23 points from 16 games whilst the Red Eagles moved to a place down to 8th with 21 points from as many games.
