Paidha Black Angels beat Nyamityobora 2-0 to mark a winning start their Bar Okoro stadium after playing their other 19 games from Arua at Onduparaka’s Green light stadium since promotion to premier league. Bar Okoro stadium had initially failed to meet the minimum requirement to be passed by the FUFA licensing committee. But after the FUFA Executive meeting last week, the Premier League debutants were granted permission to use their Bar Okoro stadium with a clause that the minimum requirements are met by the club. Dickens Okwir scored Paidha’s first premier League goal at Bar Okoro in the 14th minute before completing his brace in the 67th minute to cap his Pilsner Man of the match performance. Despite second win of the season, Paidha are at the foot of the table with 12 points while Nyamityobora, who suffered 14th loss of the campaign remained second from bottom. Meanwhile, Police FC rallied from behind to hold leaders KCCA FC to a 1-1 draw at Lugogo. Mustafa Kizza scored in the 2nd minute before Juma Balinya leveled for 8thplaced Police with his 12th of the season to go top of scorers’ log. Express were held to a 1-1 draw by Maroons at Betway Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku. Solomon Walusimbi gave the visitors lead in the 53rd minute before Tony Odur netted Express equalizer from the spot with five minutes to play. The Red Eagles moved a place to 9th with 25 points while Maroons remained 13th. Elsewhere, URA recovered from Uganda Cup exit with a 2-0 home win at Kirinya Jinja SS. Pilsner Man of the match Shafik Kagimu scored in both halfs as the Tax Collectors moved a place to 4th with 32 points after 20 games.
