Uganda has a chance to win the 2019 beach Woodball World Cup when they host the global event from May 24 till May 31 at Spennah beach, Entebbe. Uganda won the bid to host the event last year and to achieve their competition target, a team of 40 players (20 men and 20 women) having mostly those who topped in national beach woodball last year has been summoned to start preparations. The summoned players will undergo trials under Coach Onesmus Atamba starting March 10-24 at Spennah beach, Entebbe and the best six in male and female respectively will make the final team of 12 players to represent the country at the much anticipated competition.
