Kumi vs Kyambogo, Kumi
Debutants International University of East Africa (IUEA) are optimistic they will bounce back and pick their maiden win in the Pepsi university football league. The Kansanga-based University lost their second game 2-1 at home on Wednesday against two-time champions MUBS, who also picked their first win of the season.

Nelson Odama and Said Muni scored for MUBS in the opening stanza before Arsene Rwakuba pulled one back for IUEA after the break as the home fans celebrated the team’s first goal in the competition.
Coach Dorian Ntambi is hopeful that his charges can learn from experience and secure their first victory in the next fixture against Uganda Christian University (UCU). “It is our first time in the league and I think we play well. We wanted a win but we have so far drawn and lost respectively; which is a learning curve for us. We are going to build on previous performance to do better,” noted Ntambi, whose side settled for a barren draw away against two-time winners Kampala University (KU) in the group D opener.
Action continues this Saturday with reigning champions Kyambogo visiting Kumi University seeking straight wins after their 4-2 thumping of Kampala International University (KIU) in the opener.
