Ndejje University vs Vipers, Bombo
Nyamityobora vs Onduparaka, Kakyeka
Defending champions Vipers SC will hope to build on the Express win last timeout as they visit relegation bound Ndejje University this Tuesday at the Arena of Visions, Bombo-Luwero.
Dan Sserunkuma’s brace earned the Venoms a 2-0 win over his former side last Friday at Kitende to temporarily level points with leaders KCCA FC before the latter thumped rivals SC Villa 4-2 the following day at Lugogo to maintain a 3 point lead at the summit.
With table leaders playing on Wednesday, Vipers need nothing less than victory against the third bottom side that lost 3-0 away to Bright Stars on Saturday to keep their title retention hopes alive.
The hosts will see their striker Francis Onekalit sit out the tie against mother club but Coach Raymond Komakech is optimistic they can deny Vipers a league double after losing 1-0 at Kitende in the first round clash, courtesy of Davis Kasirye strike.
Visitors miss assistant captain Geoffrey Wasswa due to keen injury just as center back Livingstone Mulondo. Goal keeper Bashir Sekagya is a long term absentee.
“Ndejje is as desperate for points as we are and it will be a tough game. However, we know that every game is important and we look forward to victory,” noted Sserunkuma, who has so far scored 11 goals, 2 behind leading scorer Juma Balinya (Police FC).
