YMCA Comprehensive Institute went top of group A after their 2-1 away win at Bugema University on Thursday in the Pepsi University football league. Walugembe Raymond gave visitors YMCA lead in the 29th minute before Lucky Kasujja levelled matter for the hosts five minutes later. Substitute Ronald Lutabi scored the winner in the 78th minute as the visitors held on to victory. YMCA moved a place to the top group A with 6 points while Nkumba, with a game in hand, slipped to second with 3 points. Bugema and Bishop Stuart are third and fourth respectively. The Pepsi-sponsored league returns this Saturday afternoon with former champions Uganda Martyrs University hosting Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) at Nkozi before Bishop Stuart host Nkumba University on Monday in Mbarara.
