SC Villa will be hoping to replicate last season’s performance when they ended Onduparaka’s league unbeaten home run with a 1-0 win at Green light stadium, Arua courtesy of Godfrey Lwesibawa’s first half goal. Until last March, the Caterpillars had not lost at home since 2013 and the loss to record 16-time champions proved a bitter pill to swallow as head coach Livingstone Mbabazi was sacking in the aftermath. SC Villa Coach Douglas Bamweyana described the game as ‘very important’ and look forward to a much better performance. “We had a lot of mistakes last time out but we have prepared,” noted Bamweyana, who will miss defender Habib Kavuma due to a late knock. Onduparaka coach Sadiq Sempigi said that Villa is a good team, but they will not afford to lose at home. “We are ready but have to better our conversion upfront. We have many teams chasing us and we also have to work for a good finish,” noted Sempigi, who expects a convincing win to recover after losing to Nyamityobora last timeout. SC Villa are 13th with 23 points from 23 games while Onduparaka that beat Jogoos 1-0 at Namboole in first round sit 6th with 34 points from similar games.
