BUL and Kirinya Jinja SSS played to a 1-1 draw the last time the two sides met in Jinja derby at the Mighty Arena during this season’s Uganda premier league first round tie.

Faisal Muwawu gave visiting BUL lead before James Otim leveled for Jinja SSS. The tempo is high as the two teams meet at the FUFA technical center, Njeru this Wednesday afternoon in the premier league match of the day.
Hosts BUL are in 6th position with 37 points, one above rivals Jinja SSS in 8th position. Ahead of the clash, Jinja SSS Coach Abbey Kikomeko is confident his side is well prepared.
“I have a full squad at disposal and we look forward to a win. We have finished above BUL in the last two seasons and we want to maintain it. A win will open our chances of ensuring the goal,” he noted.
“It will not be an easy game but I am confident we shall do it. One player who will be much motivated to deliver is David Bagole after the midfielder was named Pilsner player of March on Monday to take home Shs1m prize. BUL FC coach Peter Onen also believes that victory will bring back the side on the road after going last four game winless; two losses and two draws whilst Jinja SSS collecting 9 points out of the possible 12.
