Uganda premier league
Tuesday results
BUL 3-1 Mbarara City
Maroons 0-0 Kirinya Jinja SS
SC Villa 1-2 Tooro United
Former Coach Wasswa Bbosa was the man on the bench as Tooro United condemned SC Villa to their 10th premier league loss of the season on Tuesday at Namboole stadium. The 2-1 loss on Tuesday also sent the record 16-time champions closer to relegation as are just five points off relegation. Jogoos, who are having one game to go, are not having the survival fate in their hands as they have to pray hard that Ndejje University fail to get maximum points in their two remaining fixtures. Ndejje host Onduparaka this Tuesday before travelling to Kirinya Jinja SS for the last game while SC Villa will host Nyamityobora at Namboole in an emotional last game. Just like Bbosa, whom Jogoos saw off rudely, Ben Misagga, the Nyamityobora president, also left Villa Park unceremoniously to join Abanyakale and thus revenge is much likely to be on the agenda. Ambrose Kirya opened the scoring for the Douglas Bamweyana side in the 8th minute but Baker Bayala cancelled out the joy in the 47th minute before Pilsner man of the match Allan Kayiwa gave the visitors victory in the 69th minute. SC Villa are 13th with 31 points, 5 above 14th placed Ndejje University while Tooro United temporarily replaced URA in third with 48 points before URA visit Police this Tuesday at Lugogo.
