The defending champions opened with a 1-0 home win over Lango in Mukono in the season opener before their 2-1 win on road to Sebei in the second game.

Ahead of the Ankole task, head coach Alex Isabirye is buoyed that his charges can maintain the winning run even after change of home ground.

Buganda is yet to lose at home since Isabirye took charge last season. The visiting Ankole meanwhile were 3-2 home winners at Sebei before losing to Lango away last time out.

They thus visit Buganda seeking redemption which makes the tie unpredictable. Unbeaten Buganda lead group B table with 6 points, 3 above second placed Lango who better third placed Ankole (3) goal difference.

Winless and group minors Sebei sit at the foot of the table with no point after two games. In group D, Teso and Kigezi clash at Kabale municipal stadium with each seeking first win of the campaign. Teso has drawn once while hosting Kigezi has lost all the opening two games.
