All the teams due to take part in the second edition of Beach woodball world cup are expected to be in the country by this Sunday ahead of the official tee-off on Monday at Spenah beach, Entebbe.
On Tuesday, there will be official practice, youth and fairway Singles competitions. There will also be stroke and fairway doubles round 1 before Africa woodball workshop. Stroke singles round 1 and 2, Africa workshop Day 1, stroke Double 2 and fairway teams’ competition will be held on Wednesday.
Fairway teams final, stroke singles final, fairway singles final will be held on Thursday before the awards ceremony. The team (countries) to take part include; China, India, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and hosts Uganda. Team Uganda has been in camp under coach Onesmus Atamba ahead of the competition.
