This year’s edition is sponsored by Guinness and Roke Telkom. In the final, Betway Kobs scored two early tries thanks to Adrian Kasito and Alhaji Manano.

Kasito converted the first try but the other extras went off the posts as Kobs took a 00-12 half time lead. In the second stanza, Pirates’ Haruna Muhammad crossed the white-wash but that was the last as the Betway-sponsored Kobs won 07-12.

“It was a very tough game, we have to shift our focus to the next circuit,” Kobs 7s skipper Jospeh Aredo noted. The next circuit will be hosted in Masaka as Buddu 7s this Saturday.
