After being unveiled at Tanzania record league champions Young Africans, Juma Balinya has vowed to repay the trust vested in him by replicating last season performance.

The Uganda Premier league 2018/19 season top scorer (19 goals) joined was unveiled on Friday on a two-year deal after expiry of his contract with Uganda Police FC.

“I am glad to join Young Africans and I promise to repay the faith,” noted the forward after being unveiled by last season Tanzania premier league runners up.

Eman Okwi and Hamis Kiiza have formerly played for Young Africans. Balinya, who had average performance at this year’s COSAFA Championship in South Africa recently, started his professional club career at Vipers Sports Club before he went to Djibouti.

After a two season spell, he returned and featured for defunct Lweza FC before signing for Police FC at the start of the 2017/18 season.
