Mauritius vs Sao Tome e Principe – Winner will remain in C4
Djibouti vs The Gambia – Winner will remain in D4
Uganda Cranes has been drawn in a relatively fair group B for the AFCON 2021 qualifiers.
Burkina Faso, Malawi and the preliminary round winner between South Sudan and Seychelles are the other members in the group.
The draws were held at Mariott Hotel in Zamalek, Cairo Egypt on Thursday evening and the outcome was largely welcomed by Uganda Cranes fans back home.
There are four matches that start from the preliminary round and the respective winners will be placed in different groups from A to D.
The 2019 AFCON hosts Egypt are in group G along with Kenya, Togo and Comoros. Senegal, who are seeking first Afcon title when they take on 1990 champions and favorites Algeria this Friday in this year’s final, are placed in group I alongside Congo, Guinea Bissau and Eswatini.
Algeria are placed in group H with Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana.
The best two countries from each group qualifies for the final tournament to be hosted by Cameroon.
