The Uganda Cranes team left for Djibouti on Wednesday where they will face Somalia in the CHAN 2020 qualifiers on July 27 before the return leg in Kampala a week later.
The Cranes were held to barren draw by Proline on Wednesday in the friendly match at Lugogo, four days after losing to Kitara region select side 1-0 in Hoima.
In three friendly games, they have only beaten URA FC 1-0 in the earlier tie at Lugogo.
After the stalemate against reigning Stanbic Uganda Cup champions, Cranes interim Coach Abdullah Mubiru named the final 18-man squad that flew out later in the evening in a 31-man contingent led by FUFA Exco member David Mukidi Kalyebara.

The National team’s officer Paul Mutakabala traveled in advance on Wednesday morning. Despite shortage of goals, Mubiru is motivated by the numerous goal scoring opportunities created by the team ahead of the Somalia duel.
