Warriors vs Betway Power
Betway Power will be hoping to recover from JKL Dolphins defeat when they face Warriors this Friday in the Tusker Lite NBL (National Basketball League at the YMCA Courts, Wandegeya.
JKL Dolphins condemned Betway Power to a 77-85 defeat on Wednesday at the Lugogo Arena. JKL started strong –carrying a 45-35 half time lead before Power recovered to win the third quarter 20-13.
JKL however held to win 85-77 with Brian Namake and Brian Muramba returning game high 27 and 23 points respectively.
Namake had six rebounds and nine assists to cap the Man of the match performance. Betway Power’s Phillip Ameny and Joseph Ikong scored 18 and 17 points respectively as their side suffered its fifth loss of the season in 15 outings.
JKL on the other hand has won 12 out of 16 games. Meanwhile, Warriors had minimal work against Sharing Saints to secure a 56-79 win.
Samad Imran and Chris Omanye returned 15 and 13 points respectively for Warriors while Caesar Kizito scored a game high 17 points for Sharing despite being at the losing end.
In the preceding women fixture this Friday, Nkumba Lady Marines take on A1 Challenge before Betway Power takes on Warriors.
