Uganda will start their Total AFCON 2021 qualification campaign with a visit to Burkina Faso and welcoming Malawi in group B on dates to be decided between November 11-19 this year before a break of nine months.
The Cranes will then play a doubleheader with the preliminary round winner between Seychelles and South Sudan on a date between August 31 and September 2020.
Uganda will then host Burkina Faso between October 5-13 next year. Uganda and Burkina Faso met in the 2017 AFCON qualifier with the Burkina Faso winning at home 1-0 before securing at barren draw in Kampala.
The last group fixture will be against Malawi with the match scheduled between November 9-17, 2020.
The Uganda Cranes would be having a new Head Coach in November since interim coach Abdullah Mubiru was only tasked to lead the local-based team at through out the CHAN 2020 campaign.
