URA FC have denied reports that Sam Ssimbwa will soon throw in towel as the club Head Coach.
There were media reports that Ssimbwa was unhappy with the way the club has handled transfers in the ongoing transfer window.
The Tax Collectors have so far signed 11 players and there were rumors that Ssimbwa did not sanction most of the new signings as the head of technical at the club.
However, in a statement, club CEO Ivan Kakembo referred to the rumors as ‘baseless and not true’.
Meanwhile, URA have released nine players ahead of the new 2019/20 season. The released players include Robert Omunuk, Mathew Odong Tayo, Abdullah Nyanzi, Salim Munaku Wekiya, Charles Sempa, Derrick Ochen, Ronald Musana, Peter Lwasa and Allan Mugalu. URA will visit Mbarara City on August 2 in the opening round of the 2019 Pilsner Super 8 tournament
