Vipers SC have unveiled their new signings ahead of the new 2019/20 season.

While unveiling the new players on Tuesday at the St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende, Vipers SC technical development manager Eddie Butindo said that seeing more graduates from the club junior side is a dream come true.

“We are focusing much on making our St Mary’s academy to be the feeder side of Vipers SC and you will see many players from the academy being promoted,” he noted.

Exciting teenage play maker Frank Zaga Tumwesigye and Left back Dan Birikwalira have been recalled by Vipers SC from Express and Bright Stars respectively where they featured last season.

Zaga joined the Red Eagles mid last season while Birikwalira spent the whole season in Mwererwe.

Rashid Toha from center back Onduparaka, midfielder Siraje Sentamu from URA, striker Henry Kitegenyi from Kansai Plascon, forward Denis Mwemezi (Ssese county team), Right back Paul Willa from Police FC and winger Allan Kayiwa from Tooro United are the new signings at the Kitende side.

From the academy, the club also promoted goal keeper Denis Kiggundu, center backs; Ahmed Amayo and Jacob Okao, midfielders; Abdu Karim Watambala, Bobos Byaruhanga and Najib Yiga as well as striker Richard Basangwa.

Meanwhile, Tadeo Lwanga is finalizing his move to Pyramids FC in Egypt while Duncan Sseninde and Ibrahim Kiyemba were loaned out to newly promoted Wakiso Giants. Yayo Lutimba, Joseph Janjali, Karim Niyigizimana have been released while Moses Waiswa was let out to South Africa’s Super Sport United.
