KCCA 3-1 Onduparaka

Allan Okello scored twice as KCCA beat Onduparaka 3-1 in the Pilsner super 8 tournament on Friday at the StarTines stadium, Lugogo.

The win sent the holders to the final scheduled for this Sunday where they will play Vipers SC who beat Mbarara City in the other semi final.

Okello, on his debut as captain, scored the second goal for KCCA finishing off debutant Simon Serunkuma pass a minute to half time.

Musa Ramathan had given the hosts an early lead in the 3rd minute finishing off an attack he started with a low shot.

On return from the break, Onduparaka’s desire to score was much recharged but former KCCA striker Ceaser Okhuti was denied by goal keeper Jamil Malyamungu.

Subsititute Bashir Bheto scored Onduparaka’s lone goal with a free header off Rashid Okocha cross from the left.

Sulaiman Mutyaba was denied by the woodwork from close just as Okello who would have walked off with the match day ball.

Seven minutes to the hour mark, Simon Serunkuma won KCCA a free kick and Okello used the opportunity to complete his brace.

Okello has now scored seven goals for KCCA against Onduparaka in as many games.

KCCA beat Onduparaka 2-0 in the final of the inaugural edition last year at the Betway Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
