With just a week to the kickoff of the 2019/20 season, Express FC fans are still discontented with their club’s squad setup and transfer business ahead of the new season.

The six-time champions have been silent in the transfer market despite losing some of the influential players from last season.

The fans have continued to put head coach George Ssemwogerere on pressure especially after the team’s 1-0 loss to third tier side Admin FC in a friendly on Sunday at Paye Stadium, Tororo.

Captain Joseph Owino scored the only goal in the 6th minute to give the hosts a historical win against George Ssemwogerere’s team that was filled with almost new faces.

Muwanga Mathias, Sadik Sekyembe and Kyamera Tony were the players from last season among the match day squad.

The game was meant to help the Red Eagles shape up for the new season where they start off with a visit to BUL FC next Friday before hosting Bright Stars at the Betway Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
