Kkobe and Mbogo clans (Bika) will battle in this year’s Buganda kingdom Bika football tournament final scheduled for August 31 at the Masaka recreation grounds.
KKobe knocked out last year’s champions Nkima clan 6-1 on aggregate to on Tuesday at the Betway Muteesa II stadium stadium, Wankulukuku to secure a slot at the final against Mbogo clan, who eliminated pre-tournament favorites Mmamba Gabunga in the other first semi final.
In a game of few chances, Robert Sentongo missed a penalty for Nkima before Isaac Kirabira scored the only goal of the day for the three-time champions.
Meanwhile, Buddu team in the Airtel-Masaza Cup tournament has suspended its coach Allan Kabonge and secretary Joan Mbagara Nasazi over indiscipline and disrespect.
Roald Lukungu will be in charge of the team at the quarter final when they take on Butambala in Masaka. In other quarter finals, Ssese take on Busiro at Lutoboka, Kyaggwe host Bulemezi in Mukono while Kyadondo take on holders Ssingo at Mwererwe.
