Uganda Premier league limited (UPL) has confirmed that three StarTimes Uganda Premier league fixtures will be rescheduled as the Uganda Cranes prepares to face Kenya in an international friendly this weekend in Nairobi.
The Cranes under interim coach Abdullah Mubiru flies out this Friday morning for the Sunday game. The match number 21 of match day three between KCCA and Maroons that was due in Lugogo this Friday was rescheduled just as Vipers and BUL clash that was due at Kitende on the same day.
The other fixture rescheduled had Onduparaka hosting Vipers SC in Arua next Wednesday on match day four. According to UPL CEO Bernard Bainaman, the adjustment is as a result of Vipers SC and KCCA having more than three players summoned for the Cranes game.
Among the players at the national team include; Lukwago Charles (KCCA FC), Mutakubwa Joel (Kyetume FC), Willa Paul (Vipers SC), Kizza Mustafa (KCCA), Revita John (KCCA), Mujuzi Mustafa (Proline), Lwaliwa Halid (Vipers), Kayiwa Allan (Vipers SC), Okello Allan (KCCA FC), Mutyaba Muzamir ( KCCA) and Bayo Fahad (Vipers SC).
