Proline FC have outed a statement saying that they will not honor their home fixture against SC Villa this Saturday at the StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.
Proline has two players at the national team including last season FUFA Big league Most valuable player (MVP) and last season Stanbic Uganda Cup MVP Mustafa Mujjuzi. Proline, in a letter to StarTimes Uganda premier league CEO signed by club CEO William Bakkabulindi, it is unfair to play when other sides with players at the national team had fixtures rescheduled.
Uganda plays Kenya in an international friendly this Sunday in Nairobi. “It is very clear in the FIFA rules that national championship games cannot take priority in gazette international breaks. You applied the law selectively which we feel is unfair. We sincerely hope and pray that this decision to force us to p[lay unjustly and unlawfully will be rescinded immediately,” partly the letter read.

Meanwhile, Police FC will host Mbarara City from Namboole stadium as opposed to earlier proposed Kabaka Kyabagu stadium –Wakiso.
The Uganda premier league secretariat confirmed receipt of the letter confirming unavailability of the Kabaka Kyabaggu venue due to earlier bookings.
Police that lost the opener against Onduparaka by forfeiture (Also losing three points and goals earlier accumulated) will not have head coach Abdullah Mubiru, who is with the Uganda Cranes as interim head coach.
The Cranes will play Kenya Harambe Stars this Sunday in a friendly at Moi International stadium and thus John Luyinda will be in charge of the Cops that lost 2-0 to BUL in their second outing of the season.
Mbarara City on the other hand beat Proline 3-0 in the opener but lost to SC Villa 3-1 in their second game.
Paul Mucureezi was replaced by Allan Kyambadde late on he national team and the Ankole Lions’ lead scorer and creator will be available to lead the Western side.
Mbarara City won the corresponding fixture last season 2-0 with Jude Semugabi and Ivan Eyam getting on target.
This will be the 5th meeting of the two clubs with Police winning once and losing twice in the last three clashes.
