KCCA settle in Angola ahead of Luanda task

Uganda’s CAF Champions league representatives KCCA will be seeking first leg away victory this Saturday as they take on Atletico Petroleos de Luanda in the CAF Champions league, first round at the Estadio 11 de Novembro, Angola. KCCA arrived in Angola on Thursday in a contingent of 34 led by FUFA Executive member Rogers Byamukama.

New signing Simon Serunkuma made it to the squad while other new comers Erisa Sekisambu, John Revita, John Egbuonu and Kezironi Kizito wait until the team makes it to the group stage.

KCCA ejected Namibia’s African Stars 4-3 on aggregate after a 2-0 home win in the return leg overturned earlier 3-2 loss away.

KCCA FC contingent:

Goal Keepers: Charles Lukwago (Captain) and Jamil Malyamungu

Defenders: Samuel Kato, Peter Magambo, Hassan Musana, Mustafa Kizza, Fillbert Obenchan, Eric Ssenjobe

Midfielders: Muzamiru Mutyaba, Gift Ali Abubakar, Allan Okello, Herbert Achai, Simon Serunkuma, Steven Sserwadda

Strikers: Sadat Anaku, Mike Mutyaba, Jackson Nunda

Technical team: Mike Hillary Mutebi (Manager), Morley Byekwaso (Assistant Manager), Kaddu Badru (First Team Coach), Kiwanuka Daniel (Goal Keeper Coach), Jackson Magera (Assistant Coach), Richard Malinga (Assistant Coach) Kabuye Robert (Assistant Coach), Ivan Ssewanyana (Team Physiotherapist), Emma Tusuubira (Assistant Team Physiotherapist), Tom Ssentongo (Kits man)
