KCCA and Proline FC will head into the return leg of their respective continental ties with massive hopes after picking vital away point(s) over the weekend during the first legs.
KCCA played to a barren draw against Atletico Petroleos de Luanda in the CAF Champions league, first round –first leg at the Estadio 11 de Novembro in Angola on Saturday while Proline to a 1-1 draw against AS Kigali on the same evening at the Stade regional de Kigali, Nyamirambo in Rwanda.
Bright Anukani gave Proline lead before Farouk Sentongo leveled for AS Kigali in the 85th minute from the spot.
KCCA will host the Angola side next Friday while Proline will host the Rwandan side the following day with both ties set to be played at the StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.
KCCA ejected Namibia’s African Stars 4-3 on aggregate after a 2-0 home win in the return leg overturned earlier 3-2 loss away.
Meanwhile, Proline beat Masters Security of Malawi 3-0 on aggregate at the previous round –thanks to an emphatic 3-0 win at home in the first leg.
