Uganda Martyrs 2-0 MUBS (AGG: 2-0)
Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) ejected two-time champions Makerere University Business School (MUBS) from this year’s Pepsi University football league after a 2-0 aggregate victory on Wednesday. Isaac Mulindwa’s own goal and Masuudi Kafumbe’s goal in the 48th and 68th minute respectively were enough to hand the hosts a 2-0 return leg win at Nkozi on Wednesday after the two sides settled for a barren stalemate at Nakawa.
The impressive Kafumba came in for injured midfielder Livingstone Mbigo.

In an end to end game, UMU goal keeper Amir Nalugoda had a couple of match winning saves that guaranteed his Man of the match performance.
Uganda Martyrs had never beaten MUBS at home in the Pepsi University Football League but have also never lost to MUBS since the 2017 final UMU won 2-0 for their only UFL title.
On Friday, YMCA Comprehensive Institute host St. Lawrence University (SLAU) for the second leg of their semi final tie. SLAU have a 2-0 advantage from the first leg.
