Burundi vs Uganda, Bujumbura

Uganda Cranes interim head coach Abdallah Mubiru on Wednesday confirmed the final 18-man squad to Bujumbura, Burundi for the forthcoming first leg of the 2020 CHAN second round qualifier.

“The team is ready; everyone is prepared, determined and committed to giving positive results and best performance when we meet Burundi over the weekend. That gives me courage as a coach because the best you can get from the players is the situation where they are ready to give whatever they can for the success of the team,” Mubiru stated.

The final traveling team was named after the final training session at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo which followed days of intense training that also had a friendly match with the Hippos (U20) on Tuesday that ended in a barren stalemate at the FUFA technical center, Njeru.
