URA FC new signing Daniel Opolot Isiagi wants to score goals and help the club post positive results.
Isiagi joined the four-time Uganda champions on a one year a deal –dumping Mbarara City that was on the verge of securing his services.
The striker returns to the Uganda Premier League after a year in Egypt. H
last featured in the local league for Proline in the 2017/18 season before joining Al Nasr SC in the Egyptian second tier division.
“URA is one of the biggest teams in Uganda so it’s a good feeling for me to join them and hopefully I can help the team score goals and get positive results. I can’t wait to join my teammates and get started,” Isiagi told the club website.
The 24-year old striker has also previously played for KCCA FC and the defunct SC Victoria University.
URA has struggled to post good results at the infant stage of the 2019/20 season.
The Sam Ssimbwa side sits 11th on table with four points –posting just one win, two draws and losses in the four games they have played thus far.
