Uganda U17 coach Ayub Khalifa has double tasked his charges against Botswana this Friday in the semi finals of the 2019 Cosafa U17 Championship at the St. Francois Xavier stadium in Mauritius.

Uganda, who play as a guest team at the tournament qualified as group A leaders and Ayub believes they will have to be at their best both upfront and defensively against Botswana who came us runners up in group B.

Kunihira Margaret (R) scored four against Comoros in the last game

“We have been scoring many goals but we are facing a team that is equally scoring. We have worked on our scoring but we must also be vigilant at the back since they won 14-0 and 5-1 in some of their games at the group stage,” noted Ayub, who is expected to make minimal changes in the team that walloped Comoros 20-0 in the last game.

Uganda scored 32 goals at the group stage in three games with skipper Juliet Nalukenge scoring 14 of those as the tournament leading scorer.
