Babirye, who won the Stanbic half year mug in June, is destined to claim the Mug of Mugs top honors due December. The Men overall winner was Chris Mutegyeki after he returned 33 but on count back.

Kananathan managed 38 on count back to emerge Men’s Group A winner while in the same group, Vincent Katutsi was runner up off 36 nett.

James Museba was Men’s Group B winner with 34 nett. Sam Onek was runner up off 35 nett. Chung Liang Huan was Men’s Group C winner off 36 nett. Zhang Jian Peng was runner up with 36 on count back.

Hon. Evelyn Asiimwe returned 37 nett to emerge Ladies Group A winner. Katy Kabenge was runner up off 38 on count back. After managing 38 on count back, Connie Mukuru topped Ladies Group B.

Caroline Kansiime emerged runner up off 41 on count back. Jenina Nasimolo emerged best senior lady golfer off 44 nett. Johnson Dairo managed 38 nett to emerge guest winner.

Only the results from the first nine holes were considered after heavy rain disrupted play. At the 19th hole, Saxophonist Michael Kitanda entertained the golfers and guests.

The Stanbic mug is sponsored by Stanbic Bank Uganda with Lato Milk, Nation Media Group, Qatar Airways and UAP Old Mutual as other sponsors.
