Ethiopia vs Uganda, Bahrdar
The Uganda Cranes contingent to Ethiopia for the international friendly match this Sunday in Bahrdar town flew out on Thursday morning.
The 30-man delegation was led by FUFA Executive Committee member Juma Marhan Abdul Hamid after the advance party head Paul Mukatabala had already departed on Wednesday.
The newly appointed Uganda Cranes head coach Johnathan McKinstry will be assisted by Charles Livingstone Mbabazi, Fred Kajoba (goalkeeping coach), McCarthy Alexander Michael (fitness coach), Emmanuel Nakabago (team Doctor) and Frank Bumpenje as the kits Manager.
McCarthy Alexander Michael is a new member in the Cranes technical set up while Abdullah Mubiru, who was the interim head coach paves way as his former assistant Mbabazi takes the assistant role to the Northern Ireland coach.
Two local based players; Allan Kayiwa and Kirizestom Ntambi from Vipers SC and Wakiso Giants were added to the traveling squad that initially had no local based player.
