Egypt vs Cote D’Ivoire, Cairo International Stadium
Two Ugandans are to officiate the final of the 2019 Total Cup of Africa Nations U-23 between Egypt and Cote D’ Ivoire at the Cairo International Stadium this Friday. Dick Okello shall be the first assistant referee and Edgar Watson Suubi is the head of technical study group.
In the same way, three Ugandans will attend the first CAF safety and security officers’ training workshop in Egypt on December 3-5 at the Hilton Pyramids Golf, Dreamland El Wahat Road in Cairo.

These officials are; Humphrey Watenga Mandu, Jamil Bawalaggana Mpagi and Abdul Lukooya Sekabira. The workshop is also supported by FIFA as part of the FIFA Forward Program and it will be officiated by Dr Christian Emeruwa, Michael Kuchenbecker as well as the CAF IT and marketing teams.
This is a follow up session after CAF had also recently organized a CAF National Safety and Security Officers’ workshop. There will be a practice session with a visit to a stadium to further reinforce the various learning outcomes that would have been delivered during the course of the workshop.
