URA FC midfielder Ivan Serubiri has replaced injured Chrizestom Ntambi at the Uganda Cranes that is preparing for the 2019 Cecafa Senor Challenge cup this month in Uganda.
19 Players turned up for Monday Morning training at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo and Serubiri was part of the training. Uganda Cranes head coach Jonathan McKinstry rates Serubirias as one of the best midfielders in the Starimes Uganda premier league with same physicality and style like Ntambi.
“He is a good number six with good position sense. For football, it is not about having the best players but the ones that fit together well,” noted the Irishman.
Serubiri joined the four-time champions this season on a 3-year deal from Buganda region league side Free Stars. He is the Airtel-Masaza Cup 2016 MVP accolade winner in as he won the title with Buddu.

KCCA FC and Proline Players will join the camp this Tuesday evening immediately after their last final first round league fixture at Lugogo.
