Edirisa ‘Torres’ Lubega has joined Estonia premier league side club Paide Linnameeskond on loan for two years from Proline FC. “We have also allowed to loan striker Lubega to Estonia club Paide for two years,” reads Proline statement.
Lubega is a former top scorer in the Airtel-Masaza Cup with Singo and the Kampala region association league with Juventus Namasuba.
He started his professional career at Proline FC in 2017 before playing for AC Floridsdorfer and SV Ried in Austria.
The striker, who was earlier summoned at the ongoing Cranes for Cecafa Cup before pulling out with alleged injury, joined to Proline at the beginning of this season.
Lubega made his senior international debut on 27 January 2016, coming on as a 79th minute substitute for Erisa Ssekisambu in a 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe in the African Nations Championship Group Stages.
Paide Linnameeskond was founded in 2004 and has played in the Meistriliiga since 2009 and have never been relegated from the Estonian top division.
