Uganda vs Ethiopia, Lugogo
Entry Fees: 5k, 20k and 50k
The national U17 women team players are relishing the opportunity to play in the FIFA World cup and can’t wait to give their best when they take on Ethiopia this Saturday in the FIFA 2020 U17 World Cup qualifiers at the StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.
FUFA confirmed that there will be no free entrance to any stakeholder since it is a development team that will need to generate funds for success of the project; from qualifiers to the final tournament due November this year in India.
According to Decolas Kiiza, the Deputy FUFA CEO in charge of competitions, the FUFA President and his Executive Committee will also pay for the entrance.

“We are geared towards performing well and promise to do our very best to see to it that we qualify. Playing in the world cup qualifiers is a grand opportunity that is going to help us develop as a team and individually as players. We are looking forward to the experience which we believe will be a good one,” Juliet Nalukenge, the team captain noted.
Head coach Ayub Khalifa said that they have sharpened the striking force so that they can get more goals in the first leg ahead of the return leg next week.
“We are going to attack but try to ensure a clean sheet as well. The team is in good shape with positive attitude and I am certain we are going out for a win,” noted Ayub, who is the 2019 Airtel-FUFA Coach of the year.
Ethiopia arrived in the country on Thursday. The Uganda U17 team that has been camped at the FUFA technical center, Njeru won the inaugural CECAFA Championship in December and had earlier emerged Champions in the inaugural COSAFA U17 Championship in Mauritius.
