Allan Okello and Mustafa Kizza’s stay at KCCA FC nears an end with the two star players set to finalsie their exit from Lugogo. Okello, the 2019 Airtel-FUFA player of the year is reportedly heading to Paradou.
The Algerian side knocked KCCA FC out of the 2019/2020 CAF confederation Cup 4-1 on aggregate at the pre-group stage but they got impressed with the teenager’s performance.
Fullback Mustafa Kizza is said to be in Morocco to seal move to topflight side Hassania Agadir after the two sides reportedly agreed terms.
Okello and his representative Isaac Mwesigwa left the country on Friday for Algeria and the 19-year old play maker is expected to sign a three-year deal.
KCCA is likely to receive $200,000 from the Okello deal and the 13-time league champions are also entitled to a 20% forward sale in the event that Paradou sell the Player in the future.
The duo has their contracts end in next January but declined to renew their stay with the 13-time Ugandan champions. Okello made his KCCA FC debut with a hat trick against Onduparaka in 2017 at Lugogo in the 7-0 win while Kizza took a while to cement his place since his arrival; he has had assists and important goals.
The two have inspired KCCA to two league titles (2017 and 2019), two back to back Uganda Cup titles (2017 and 2018) and the CECAFA Kagame Cup (2019). Both players are pillars in both CHAN tournament squad.
