Return Leg (2nd February 2020)

Uganda vs Tanzania, Lugogo

The Uganda U-20 women team hope to build on the crucial away goal after falling 2-1 away to Tanzania during the preliminary round, First Leg of the 2020 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers at the National Stadium, Dar es Salaam.

U17 side captain Juliet Nalukenge gave Uganda the lead but the hosts rallied back to win through Diana Msewa and Clement Opa goals. Head coach Oliver Mbekeka says that they will rectify the mistakes in time before the return leg.
