Express, Maroons in all premier league Stanbic Uganda Cup tie

Stanbic Uganda Cup joint record holders Express FC face a tricky tie against Maroons in the only all Uganda Premier League clash at the round of 32, according to the draws held at FUFA on Monday.

With the 10-time winners struggling in the league, the Uganda Cup presents the only other avenue for season land silverware. At the round of 64, Express picked emphatically beat third division side St. Mary’s Nabweeru 3-0 on road while Maroons progressed 4-1 on penalties against another third division side Young Elephants after a goalless draw.

Elsewhere, defending champions Proline FC will host Tororo- based Admin FC that ejected Police FC while last season runners up Bright Stars will host Free Stars at Kavumba. KCCA FC who were eliminated at this round last season host Bukedea Town Council while Kajjansi United that ejected 2016 winners Vipers SC host 2015 winners SC Villa.

Mvara FC, who sent BUL packing visit Kiboga Young at the round of 32. Three-time Uganda champions URA FC host Nyamityobora while Wakiso Giants are also at home to MYDA.

Tooro United are away to second division side Kansai Plascon with Mbarara City FC also at home to FHL FC. The round of 32 games are scheduled to be played between 11th and 15th February 2020.
