Onduparaka vs Express, Arua (Live at Sanyuka TV)
Wasswa Bbosa officially starts his new era as Express FC coach this Friday with a trip to Onduparaka at the Green light stadium, Arua as the StarTimes Uganda premier league match day 21 continues.
Bbosa returned to is former side replacing George Ssimwogerere early this week and will be tasked to getting the Red Eagles from relegation threats.
He takes on a team that Express has never defeated in seven attempts with only managing three draws and losing the other four games. The Caterpillars won the reverse fixture 2-0 at the Betway Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
Bbosa will be buoyed by the fact that he has defeated Onduparaka twice as a coach from Arua –once in SC Villa in 2018 which was Onduparaka’s first topflight home defeat and then Tooro United last year.
Godfrey Lwesibawa scored the scored in both 1-0 defeats. Onduparaka are fifth on the table with 30 points while Express sit in the relegation zone, 14th with 21 points from 20 games played.
Both sides come into this fixture on the back of 1-0 defeats. Express lost 1-0 to Mbarara City in the last game courtesy of Makweth Wol first goal of the season while Onduparaka lost by similar margin to table leaders Vipers SC at the St Mary’s stadium, Kitende courtesy of Geoffrey Wasswa free kick.
The Betway-sponsored side is also boosted by the clearance of forward Eric Kambale who is in contention to make his first season appearance at the six-time champions after returning to the club he inspired last season.

Express didn’t travel with first choice goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga and  Tonny Kyamera who is expected to start in goal against a side he made his debut two years ago at the same venue.
Kyamera featured as a defender in this same fixture last season due to squad thinness as the two clubs settled for a goalless draw.
Express new recruits in Musa Mukasa, Mahad Kakooza Yaya, Isa Lumu, Arthur Kiggundu and Baker Lukooya have not yet received playing licenses and were not part of the 8-hour journey.
Onduparaka just unveiled Andama Sabir from Doves All Stars and former Paidha Black Angels and Ndejje University winger Fred Nsereko Male as latest acquisitions.
Defender Hassan Muhamood will be facing his former side having featured for Express in the 2016-17 season.
A much needed win for Express can move them to 24 points and possibly to the 10th position while a win for the 5th placed home side can see them complete their second double over the six time league champions in four seasons and leapfrog URA from 4th place.
