FUFA has fined Maroons Coach Douglas Bamweyana for unsporting behavior. The FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel’s decisions on unsporting conduct towards Bamweyana and other match officials came after the match between Bright Stars FC and Maroons FC played on Wednesday 29/01/2020 at the Kavumba recreational grounds.

The panel warned Maroons players Okello Maxwell and Sebwalunyo Hannington against any form of future unsporting conduct, fined Maroons goal keeper coach Tezigwa Rogers with Shs500,000 for unsporting conduct, fined Bamweyana Douglas, the Head Coach Maroons with Shs1m for his unsporting conduct coupled with his previous record with regard to a similar violation.

The goal Keeper coach Tezigwa Rogers and Head Coach Bamweyana Douglas shall not be allowed to sit on the technical bench until the fines are paid. Maroons, who visit Wakiso Giants on February 18 when the StarTimes Uganda premier league returns, sit 10th with 24 points from 21 games.
