Busoga United FC was coming off a four wins out of last six when they fell to Bright Stars 3-0 at the Kavumba Recreational Centre last Wednesday in their last StarTimes Uganda premier league game.
A first half Ronald Sempala strike and others from Jamil Kalisa and Joseph Janjali in the second stanza left Busoga United Head coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko disturbed with his side’s performance. This was Busoga’s third consecutive away loss after losing to Busia Young in the Uganda Cup and Onduparaka in the league.

“The rain made the work hard for us. I can’t really explain how we lost the match. We can’t blame the rain because our opponent played on the same pitch. My players didn’t stick to the instructions. We train to play in different situations and they had to adjust but did not. We have to be consistent in each and every match. We have to go back and work on that if we are to achieve our targets,” noted Kikomeko who handed new signing Sharif Kimbowa from Nkumba University his debut in the side’s 9th loss of the season. Busoga United that are 7th on log will face URA next on February 18th at the Mighty Arena before travelling to Maroons three days later.
