Ayub summons U17 Girls Team ahead of Tanzania clash

FIFA U-17 Women Qualifiers:

First Leg: Tanzania Vs Uganda (1st March 2020) – National Stadium, Dar es Salaam

Second Leg: Uganda Vs Tanzania (14th March 2020) – StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo

The Uganda national U-17 Girls team will start training this Friday in preparation for the FIFA U-17 Women qualifiers match against Tanzania. A squad of 25 players was released by the head coach Ayub Khalifa and is set to camp at the Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisasi. The training sessions will be conducted at StarTimes stadium, Maroons and Kawempe Moslem SS grounds.

The first leg will be played away at the National Stadium, Dar es Salaam on 1st March 2020 before the return leg a fortnight later at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.

The squad:

Goalkeepers: Daphine Nyayenga, Zulaika Nyamita, Joan Namusisi

Defenders: Gillian Akadinda, Gloria Namugerwa, Stella Musibika, Patricia Akiror, Sumayah Komuntale, Samalie Nakacwa, Bira Nadunga, Grace Aluka

Midfielders: Kevin Nakacwa, Moureen Nangonzi, Shakirah Nyinagahirwa, Shamillah, Shamillah Nalujja, Nagayi Eva, Kyomuhendo Sumayah, Zaina Nandede, Hadijah Nandago

Forwards: Margret Kunihira, Juliet Nalukenge, Fauziah Najjemba, Munyana Brenda, Catherine Nagadya, Nakasi Latifah
