URA FC Head Coach Sam Ssimbwa was in the same capacity in the 2011/12 season when Express FC last lifted the Uganda premier league.
Their sixth title arrived when Wasswa Bbosa –the current Express FC Coach was the assistant to Ssimbwa. This Tuesday, the two tacticians will face off in the StarTimes Uganda premier league clash at the Betway Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

The match comes at a time when both sides are on fire with URA beating current table toppers Vipers SC 3-1 at home during the last encounter at Arena of Visions, Ndejje while Express held reining champions and title challengers KCCA FC to a 1-1 away stalemate at the StarTimes stadium, Lugogo. The reverse fixture this season went goalless but Bbosa, who replaced George Ssemwogerere at the Red Eagles helm, is eager for victory.
“We want to win every game to ensure safety. URA is a good team with a good coach but we must look for points from every team we play,” noted Bbosa who has won two and drawn one of the three games in charge. URA will have no Joackim Ojera after a knock against Vipers SC.
The game which is the first as Wankulukuku stadium got clearance to host league games last week, will be played behind closed doors following a ruling a ruling by FUFA Disciplinary panel after Express fans attacked Maroons bus and officials following the side’s home defeat in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32. URA are 4th with 37 points after 23 games while Express are 11th with 28 points from as many games.
