Charles Ayiekoh Lukula has been officially been confirmed as the new head coach lf Maroons Football Club.
The unveiling ceremony was held at Prisons head quarters kn Kampala on Wednesday 11th, March 2020.
During the unveiling ceremony Moses Kakungulu who is the acting Director Cooperation and Corporate Affairs of Prisons has backed Ayiekoh and his back line staff capable of saving the club from the red zone.
“We have been following Charles Ayiekoh for some time and he is a good man who can not only save us from Relegation but also can fit in our philosophy.” Said Kakungulu.
“Being a club which deals with different people and with a massive support country wide, a coach of his quality can take us to heights” Added Kakungulu.
Charles Ayiekoh Lukula has assured the fans that he is at Maroons to do the best which is expected from him and save the club.
“I took time to decide on the job and what i can assure you is that am here as a Savior and it will nk be an easy job but we will make it” Said Ayiekoh.
Ayiekoh will work withEric Ndifuna as the assistant coach, Moses Oloya as the goalkeeping coach and Uganda Cranes Ex-international player Abubaker Tabula as the trainer.
Talking about his backline staff Ayiekoh commended them as hard working people.
Charles Ayiekoh and his coaching find Maroons in the 13th, position after collecting 24 points and their immediate job is the Stanbic Uganda cup game against Kyetume kn Friday 13th, March away in Jinja.
