Like most of the football coach, Lutalo started the journey as a football player in early 90s in Kasangati, Kyadondo during Primary School days.
Hamuza Lutalo was born on April 25th 1987 to the late Haji Yusuf Sserunkuma and the late Hajati Joweria Natolo
Currently Lutalo heads the coaching staff of Rays of Grace Academy/Junior School since 2019, Richmond High School all the way from 2008 and also a coaching staff of Uganda U17 National team.
Lutalo is the last born in a family of Nine, five boys and Four Girls. His older Brothers also played football at lower clubs.
Hamuza Lutalo started his education journey at Molley and Paul Kabale Busega from Primary One to Primary Six, joined Mirembe Infant Nateete where he sat for his Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) in 1996.
He joined St Bernard College Kisweera for Senior one in 1997 up to 2000 when he completed Ordinary level.
After passing with flying colors, Lutalo joined Buddo Secondary School in 2001 where he finished his Advanced level in 2002.
Hamuza Lutalo attained a diploma in Arts and Design from Buganda Royal Institute in 2006.
Hamuza Lutalo started club football at Super Cubs where they featured in 4th Division, Super min league to Super league before being relegated.
He joined Masaka Local Council Football Club in 2009 helping the team finish in the 9th position out of 18 teams which competed in the league with 44 points.
Lutalo was part of the winning team of Express football club which won Uganda Super league 2011/12.
His last club was Mutundwe Lions in 2013 FUFA Big League before the club was relegated the following season.
Hamuza Lutalo was summoned on U20 Uganda provisional squad for the 2006 CECAFA championship which was hosted in Tanzania but did not make the final cut. Uganda won the championship defeating Burundi in the finals.
His coaching career dates back in the late 90s ( 1999) as a coach player at Super Cub Soccer Academy.
2000 – As the head coach of Super Cub, his side finished among the best eight teams in U14 first edition of City Tyres Junior League National wide which was organised by Friends of Football Uganda.
2004 – Guided Super cub to 2nd place finish in the national U16 Shall also organised by Friends of Football.
2005 – As Bright Trust Primary School coach, Lutalo helped the School finish 3rd in Coca Cola Primary School hosted in Mbale.
2004/05 – Brought Super cub to Uganda Super League
2009 – Guided Bright Trust Primary School to crown champions of U14 Coca Cola primary schools in Gulu
2009 – As the head coach of Bright Trust primary School he won U14 Kabaka Cup
2010 – Finished 3rd with Bright Trust Secondary in Senior One – Senior two
2015 – Finished 3rd in U17 FUFA Juniors with super Cub
2016 – Guided Super Cub to their maiden FUFA Juniors League tittle
2017 – Won guided Buddo Secondary School to finish on round of 16
